The 2009 AJA Asia Regional Conference
was held in the Philippines last May 7-8, 2009
at the Mandarin Oriental, located in Makati
City, the country’s premiere business city. The
event was hosted by AJA Philippines and was
chaired by no less than Mr. Timothy Dixon,
CEO of AJA Registrars in Asia Pacific.
The purpose of
the conference was to discuss group positions,
market trends, changes to our management system,
key certification services offered and their
status, pending and potential services which can
be offered to the market.
The 2 day Regional Conference was successful in its objectives and was attended by Directors/Country Managers and representatives from the various AJA offices in Asia:
Thailand,
Singapore,
Malaysia,
Korea,
Japan,
Hong Kong,
Indonesia,
Taiwan and, of course
Philippines
and also involved the support of then Managing Director of AJA Registrars in the UK (the centre of our UKAS and ANAB accreditation schemes) Mr Paul French.
